RAW MATERIALS
The quality of our products, depend heavily in the quality of
materials from our suppliers. To this end we not only monitor
selection of supplier by ensuring third party accreditation to
recognised standards but we also operate a vendor rating system.
This system looks at all aspects of the supply from delivery
performance to quality of product and the level of service that
the supplier provides.
Although we operate just in time supply on many material sizes
by virtue of our range of products and size spread we keep
stocks.
Kato-Entex produce
helical springs,
wire forms,
flat springs and
pressings from many different material types and qualities,
carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, copper alloys, nickel
alloys and some semi precious metals.
Our stores capabilities are quite extensive and we operate a
flexible database system, which has reference to every pack of
material delivered by unique pack identification, bar-coded on
the label and every stores location identified. This database
linked via internal local network ensures we can see what is in
stores together with what is work in progress.
All materials we purchase come with full certification by the
supplier and we ensure traceability throughout our production
cycle to final despatch.
