Our auto coiling section for helical springs has developed
progressively over the years not only in range and size but also
in the complexity of shape we can produce. For small to medium
volume batch production and very large volume from our
high-speed machines. We have a number of auto coilers, which can
manufacture springs from as small as 0.1mm wire diameter. The
machinery we use is a combination of true mechanical coilers
through to “state of the art”
CNC machines. Most of which
incorporate on–line gauging for process control or position
sensors of end forms in the case of
tension and
torsion springs.
With a capability to coil automatically up to 8.0mm wire
diameter our facilities can probably meet your needs and we
continue to invest in up to date technology to ensure we remain
at the forefront of the UK spring industry.
