Without the right people with the right training and the skills
that those people develop you cannot have a forward moving and
continually improving company.
Kato-Entex has for many years
had a policy of starting new apprentices each year to try to
develop new blood within the organisation for the future. The
numbers will vary each year depending on economic climate but it
is a firm policy and one, which has proven to be successful. The
scheme operates through the development and support of the
Nottingham Engineering Training Association (NETA) and
incorporates college and practical training on site. Many of our
skilled workforce has come through these apprenticeship schemes
and have proven to be reliable conscientious long-term
employees.
With our design and technical
support people we have a policy of attaining formal
qualifications in recognised disciplines to combine with gaining
product knowledge and skills for our human database as well as
take on the training courses operated by the industry specialist
of the Institute of Spring Technology, who Kato-Entex are proud
to be full members of and support the work they do for the
industry.
We also operate a number of in house training programmes
including understanding and operating SPC, GMP for the
medical and pharmaceutical
industries as well as health and safety issues. We encourage
people to improve themselves by learning new skills to support
their own ambitions to the benefit of the company.
So when you choose Kato-Entex as a supplier you can have
confidence that an organisation with structure and depth of
skills will be at your right arm.
