Kato-Entex Limited based at Bilborough in Nottingham has
been in the business of manufacturing springs and associated
products for many years. In fact its origins go back to 1937
when the company was then G. E. Haywood, Spring
Manufacturers of Nottingham with precisely one, 70-year-old
employee. It would have required an extraordinary

degree of imagination to foresee
that from these small beginnings the company would flourish
and one day occupy a position as one of the leaders of the
UK spring industry. In 1946 the name was changed to
Engineering & Textile Springs Limited hereby in its title
the general description of the products it manufactured. Its
registered trademark of “Entex” remained part of the name
for a number of changes as it does today. The range of
products and facilities continued to grow and our works are
now quite extensive with dedicated areas for product types,
production methods and even markets. Producing a billion
components a year we are certain we can assist you in
meeting your spring supply needs. |

Kato Precision (UK) Limited based in Southwell, North Nottinghamshire are precision manufacturers
of torsion springs, fine
wire forms and helical inserts in
very high volumes. Utilising a significant number of purpose
designed and built production machinery ensures complexity
with precision. The clean, modern, well developed production
unit complements the facilities and requirements of
Kato-Entex very well. |
